Clevedon Youth Centre

The Clevedon Young Person's Film Project has been running since August ‘06 and currently has funding for one year. Based at The Barn Youth and Community Centre in Clevedon, the project has been made possible through a partnership between The Barn, North Somerset Youth Service and the Curzon Community Cinema.

Young people have been actively involved in running the project from the beginning and were able to secure funding to buy professional film and editing equipment, after making an application to the Youth Opportunities Fund. It has been an excellent opportunity for young people to be involved in something both creative and fun and will culminate in all the young people's work being presented at the Clevedon Film festival, which will be held at the Curzon Community Cinema during North Somerset Arts Week 2007.
