"As someone whose life has been involved in the creative arts and education in Bristol and the south west for a great many years I am delighted and somewhat flattered to be asked to support North Somerset Arts Week 2009.
I have a deep admiration and respect for those artists and craftspeople “who actually do”, and it is a testament to their strength that so many of them wish to share their creative ideas with you. Please take time to discover and experience the diversity of artworks on offer by visiting studios and talking with the artists. And, of course, if you like it, buy it!
